Through the platform of athletics, FCA is impacting students and coaches across Houston ISD. FCA creates spaces where athletes can grow in faith, develop character, and discover their purpose both on and off the field.
Across Houston’s campuses, FCA is building communities where faith and sports come together to shape the next generation of leaders.
Get Involved
Huddles
FCA Huddles are student-led gatherings that take place on middle and high school campuses across HISD
These voluntary gatherings give students a place to:
• Study God’s Word
• Pray together
• Encourage one another
• Grow as leaders
Huddles are open to all students and are led by student leaders with the support of coaches, teachers, and volunteers.
Team Ministry
FCA partners with athletic programs to support teams spiritually and relationally.
Through team chapels, devotionals, and mentorship, athletes are challenged to compete with integrity, lead with humility, and represent Christ both on and off the field.
Coaches Ministry
Coaches are one of the most influential leaders in a young person’s life.
FCA serves and disciples coaches through:
• Coaches Bible studies
• Leadership development
• Prayer and encouragement
• Community with other coaches
When coaches are strengthened spiritually, their influence multiplies across entire teams and campuses.
Leadership Development
FCA is committed to developing student leaders who impact their schools.
Athletes are equipped to:
• Lead their campus Huddles
• Mentor younger athletes
• Share their faith with teammates
• Represent Christ in competition
Through sports, students are discovering what it means to lead with courage, character, and conviction.
Citywide Outreach
FCA brings athletes together from across Houston for powerful moments of worship, testimony, and encouragement.
These gatherings help students see they are part of something bigger — a movement of athletes pursuing Christ throughout the city.
